UMC Management was launched in 1993 to handle diaries of a few DJ’s in the Local Leicester area. By 1995 it had expanded to look after some of the biggest names in Drum & Bass and continues to do so today, managing bookings Worldwide. With the launch of the new site UMC is also launching a new Urban music section, taking care of artist’s from genres other than Drum & Bass for the first time. This was a natural progression given that underground music has become more and more popular and therefore feeding well into the mainstream and the merging and mixing of underground genres .
