Soft launched, October 2020, KOSU! - meaning, to EXCEED! - is a community-led, activism-driven, sustainable streetwear brand that believes culture, fashion and creativity are intrinsic to the future of social and environmental justice. To make artistic activism more impactful we have made it our mission to build an international network of creatives to produce an ongoing apparel collection that encompasses the creative voice of protest, optimism and solidarity, in a world currently infected with inequality, uncertainty and divide. We select the finest creatives from every walk of life - from industry leaders and award winners, right through to independent designers and students - to produce a three-piece collection of works to be made to order via KOSU! Apparel. We split the profit from each collection with The Artist, 50/50. The artist then contributes a minimum of 10% of their share to a selected charity. We then contribute 10% of our share to the KOSU FOUNDATION FUND. A savings fund with plans to facilitate innovative, creative projects around the world, to implement the developmental and social groundwork to help battle ‘fast fashion’ and help further diversify the creative industries.
