The Conservancy is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit focused solely on managing and expanding the parks located within the City of Hamilton. The Hamilton Parks Conservancy was created to provide services to the residents of the City at a lower cost and to have the ability to conduct fundraising through the solicitation of donations. Hamilton's unique park system features 17 parks, 40 recreational facilities and over 1,300 acres of natural and wooded parkland. There are five major picnic areas within Hamilton's park system including Crawford Woods, Joyce Park, Veteran's Park, Millikin Woods and Jim Grimm Park. Each park is equipped with picnic tables, shelters, grills, restrooms, playground equipment and parking facilities.
