Third Angel is a theatre company making exciting and original contemporary performance that speaks directly, honestly and engagingly to its audience. Led by founding Artistic Directors Rachael Walton and Alexander Kelly, our mission is to create high quality entertaining experiences, inspiring others to be curious and to challenge the world we occupy. We seek to actively tear down the barriers to the arts, making our work accessible, resonant and relevant. Current and recent projects include: THE DESIRE PATHS - A participatory, story-swapping, map-making performance for public spaces. “If you could rename a street of your town after a hope, dream or ambition for the future, what would you choose?” FUTURE MAKERS - A long-running series of weekly theatre workshops for young people interested in a career in the arts, aimed at breaking down barriers to participation in theatre. THE DISTRACTION AGENTS - A series of puzzles and challenges, delivered through the post, telling a story of induction into the clandestine "Department of Distractions."
