The Driving Alternative Inc. operating as Keys Please®, is one of the pioneers and leaders in the designated driving service and since inception have serviced millions of customers. In 2016, The Driving Alternative Inc. expanded to create Ride Please™, a taxi alternative. Ride Please™ brings together technology, professionalism, transparency and a local focus to the Vehicle for Hire Industry. Keys Please® offers a designated driver to drive you in your own vehicle or will deliver just your vehicle. This service is available daytime or evening. You would use this service when you: need a driver to drive you from a medical/dental/optometry procedure, have a function or event and want to ensure your guests arrive home safe, require your vehicle to be dropped off or picked up after servicing, need a chauffeur/personal driver, require a valet or do not want to leave your vehicle at an establishment. Ride Please™ is the service that replaces the traditional taxi. Using our free app (available through iTunes and Google Play Store) you book your ride. You can pay in-App or at the time of the service using your debit or credit card. Due to City of Calgary by-laws trips can only be booked via the app. Ride Please™ also provides a through-the-door service that is designed to meet your individual needs and/or requirements. This “Assisted Service” would be used when you require a driver meet you inside your home and upon exiting ensures the home is locked and escorts you to the vehicle. Walkers/fold-up wheelchairs will be secured in the driver’s vehicle.
