www.747firm.usAt 747 FIRM, our main goal is to provide individuals and businesses with previously owned printers and computer accessories that we have restored to 100% of their original functionality in order to help combat climate change & promote sustainable business practices Every year 20 to 50 million tons of e-waste are dumped into landfills. It represents 2% of America’s trash and 70% of overall toxic waste. In addition, the manufacture of new equipment contributes to greenhouse gasses and pollution. Yet, most used electronics are disposed of simply because of a broken part or bug-filled software. Sometimes all that’s needed is a system reset, a thorough cleaning or simply new ink cartridges. Refurbished products often match the quality and usability of new ones right out of the box. But they have to be refurbished properly. That’s why we have a proprietary refurbishing process consisting of: 1. Careful inspection, light deconstruction and a thorough internal and external cleaning; 2. The product’s features and capabilities being tested against the manufacturer’s specs, repairing any defects and determining exactly why it isn’t working properly; 3. Once certified to be in full working condition, all settings are reset following the manufacturer’s recommendations; 4. Careful packing prior to shipping. Our 4-step reconditioning process results in a refurbished product that often feels like a brand new one, except for some visible light wear. Items that have heavier wear are priced appropriately. Either way, we sell only those products that have passed our rigorous inspection and repair process, giving new life to equipment that otherwise would have been dumped into landfill.
