www.coin.nlCOIN is an association of providers of electronic communications networks and services on the Dutch market. As an association, COIN contributes to a well-functioning, efficient and innovative telecom market in the Netherlands. Within COIN telecommunications service providers can make agreements on common business processes, interoperability of services and the prevention of fraud. This may be done together with external stakeholders. COIN supports services providers with it's common reliable infrastructure. Our activities are non-profit and are performed in an open and transparent manner within the boundaries of the competition law. The telecommunications sector is facing a number of important developments, such as the implementation of the new telecom code, the rollout of 5G and fast broadband infrastructure, the Internet of Things and Smart Homes. There are also concerns with respect to the continuity, privacy and security of the common telecommunications infrastructure. Together with its members, COIN investigates how to deal with these developments and how we as a sector can contribute to a safe and reliable internet experience.
