Founded in 2015, Tufts Trading Fund (TTF) serves to help students learn about macro investing in Indices, Commodities, and Foreign Exchange Markets. TTF also provides mentoring, network building, and career prep to members to set the pathway for future careers in the financial industry. We focus on a top-down approach, looking at macro trends and profitable investing strategies. Our general meetings consist of teach-ins and investing pitches. Pitches originate from E-board members and individual sectors. Individual sectors meet in addition to the general meetings, and allow students to specialize in one of three areas: Indices, Forex, or Commodities. Through our work, we strive to achieve our goal of promoting critical thinking, market awareness, and investing strategies to prepare Tufts students to become future financial leaders of the world. Our club leaders have gone on to work at firms such as Morgan Stanley, HSBC, Standard Chartered and more.
