About BSLS: Big Sister Little Sister (BSLS) is a national mentoring program for women and youth with global impact. We strive to make a positive and intentional life-changing movement on college campuses and among college-bound girls. BSLS was founded and operated as an on-campus organization before it became a national organization and official 501c3 in September 2016. Since becoming an official 501c3 in Q3 of 2016, BSLS has expanded across 6 states and counting. BSLS empowers, educates, and encourages all women. BSLS was created to 1) reduce dropout rates among women enrolled in college 2) develop and prepare our members with the necessary skills to dominate in their field(s) of choice 3) become lifetime leaders and 4) cultivate a sisterhood that crosses cultural barriers through bonding endeavors. Additionally, our organization provides unwavering support for all members to achieve and maintain academic excellence. We are also committed to serving our local communities via community service and engagement, uplifting our youth, and providing resources that inspire our women and youth.
