Genesee Valley Conservancy is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to conserving habitat, working lands, and open space in the Genesee River watershed of western New York State. This work will ensure the natural resources and open space that define the beautiful Genesee Valley remain intact for future generations to enjoy and use. The organization works with private landowners to conserve the natural resources on their property through the use of conservation easements and also owns property as a means of protecting habitat while allowing for limited, low-impact public recreational opportunities. The financial support of individuals, businesses, grants, and foundations makes the organization's work possible. The organization is accredited by the National Land Trust Accreditation Commission.
