Mooting is a form of legal debate where participants address an appeal based on a scenario’s contentious points of law. Each year our society runs a number of internal competitions and secures opportunities to enter our members in external competitions. We hold a number of workshops and mock moots to build our members’ confidence and competence for both internal and external competitions, as well as providing instructional handbooks. We also host a number of socials and dinners, providing an excellent opportunity to network and make friends outside of college.
