TQ Mission Statement TranQuility’s mission is improve the quality of lives of transgender and gender non-conforming individuals in North Central Florida. TranQuility’s vision is to foster strong connections among transgender people in North Central Florida, provide education on how to be an ally to transgender and gender non-conforming people, and collaborate with other local organizations with similar goals. TranQuility aims to create a strong community of friends and allies. What TQ is, and who the meeting is for Anybody is welcome to attend these meetings as long as they are personally interested in the topic. However, this is a private meeting and there is an expectation of confidentiality. To protect the privacy of those in attendance, members of the media and academic researchers are not welcome to attend if their goal is to record or share information gained during this meeting. If you are a member of the media or a researcher, please come to me before the meeting gets started so we can arrange a time to meet with you privately. Also, we ask that you be mindful of the fact that people here may be at different stages of their transition in at work or in public.
