The aim of ACTIVE—Association for Cannabidiol (CBD), Terpenes & Innovative Ventures in Europe—is to unite companies, scientists, and investors working on CBD products. The demand for CBD products (e-liquids, food complements, drinks, cosmetics) continues to increase at a rapid rate. We believe it is essential to empower European companies to join together to develop the legal framework for CBD products. ACTIVE strives to bring a safe and regulated product to all users and professionals as CBD continues to grow. ACTIVE positions itself as the first European CBD trade association. The model of ACTIVE is that of a full-service trade association. Thanks to compliance guidelines, lobbying activities, event production, and market research, we act as the unified voice of CBD businesses; and the most forward-looking ones who join ACTIVE have access to an infrastructure designed to support them on a European scale. ACTIVE was founded at the end of 2018, in Brussels, Paris, and Barcelona. Members of ACTIVE benefit from the expertise of its in-house staff, board members and strategic partners, who are pioneers in the CBD conversation, and resources that are aimed at all of the inflection points in a CBD-products company’s life.
