Gourdomichalis Maritime S.A. is a traditional, third generation family ship-management company based in Piraeus, Greece, founded in 1969 by Stathis Gourdomichalis, who served two terms as president of the Union of Greek Shipowners. Historically it has managed a variety of vessels including tankers and bulk-carriers of up to 100,000 dwt. Since the mid 1980s the company has focused exclusively on bulk carriers operating them globally and, since the mid 2000s, has implemented a successful new building program.
