History of the Firm Robert L. Brenna, Sr., the law firm’s founder, graduated from Law School in 1953. His practice was diversified, and included representation for Personal Injury, Estate Work, Real Estate, and conducted business in a general practice, until he retired in 1985. He lived until 1989. His son, Robert L. Brenna, Jr., graduated from Law School in 1978, and returned to Rochester to practice law sharing the same offices with his father. He has taken great pleasure in representing people and families, over the years, as did his father. Sheldon W. Boyce joined the firm in 2007. Mr. Boyce was previously a partner at Chamberlain-D'Amanda in Rochester, New York where he chaired the plaintiffs personal injury department. He was with that firm for twenty-four years before partnering with the Brenna firm. Brenna Boyce PLLC has celebrated representing its first fifth-generation client, and takes great pride in the families who have turned to us for generations.
