Founded in 2001 by André Matter, Netkom IT Services GmbH is headquartered in Seengen, Switzerland. From the beginning on, SERVICES and PERSONAL SUPPORT were given a high profile at the company. Through various consulting mandates and IT projects at and for well-known large companies domestically and abroad, Netkom developed early on as a specialist for IT strategy and its implementation in the operational IT infrastructures and organization of the respective customers. In the following years, the Netkom team also grew through numerous projects in the classic server / client area for small and medium-sized enterprises. As a result, further core competences in the fields of transformation and digitization have been established. Netkom is therefore one of the cloud pioneers in Europe today. Since small and medium-sized enterprises are generally unable to afford one’s own datacentre infrastructures, Netkom built its own cloud platform for this segment already in 2009 under the name n’cloud. In the following 7 years, the n’cloud product and service portfolio has been continuously developed and expanded into 12 different areas. Customers from different countries can thus assemble their own virtual office from the various packages and are no longer dependent on their own expensive IT infrastructures. Since 2017, Netkom has pursued an expansion strategy towards other countries. The Swiss origin and company values, the innovative n’cloud product range, coupled with the know-how, pioneering and innovation spirit of Netkom, will be expanded in the coming months through joint ventures and other partnerships in the EMEA and ASIA-Pacific region into numerous countries worldwide. Through continuous proprietary and further development as well as appropriate innovation management, Netkom will continue to strengthen and underline its cloud leadership role for the future.
