Money Advice Liaison Group Ltd
www.malg.org.ukThe Money Advice Liaison Group (MALG) is a UK membership forum for 'working together to improve the lives of people in debt.' Its aim is to promote better communication, best practice, understanding and professionalism among organisations operating on a national and regional level concerned with people in debt, debt advice, debt collection and all related ancillary matters within the United Kingdom. However MALG does not provide advice about money or debt advice to consumers. Member benefits include exclusive access to national and regional interactive meetings on hot topics with high profile speakers/facilitators, and use of the MALG logo to demonstrate your organisation's commitment to improving the lives of people in debt. There are four types of MALG membership: -National Strategic Membership for national public/third sector organisations and industry bodies including money advice organisations, credit reference agencies and trade associations. -National Business Membership – for specialist companies including debt collection agencies, enforcement agents, commercial advice providers, creditors and technology providers. -Affiliate Membership – for cross-sector organisations, regulators and Government departments. -Regional membership – for local branches of money advice organisations and regional offices of strategic/business members. For more information see regional groups. The annual MALG Conference has been running for 30 years. In 2018, we are teaming up with Money Advice Service to jointly present The Talk Money Conference as part of Talk Money Week (previously Financial Capability Week). Visit www.malg.org.uk to find out more.
