My Modern Met was formed in May, 2008 to create one big city that celebrates creativity. Our mission is to promote a positive culture by spotlighting the best sides of humanity—from the lighthearted and fun to the thought-provoking and enlightening. Today, we receive an average of 5 million visitors coming to our site each month, looking for articles on art, design, photography, architecture, technology, environmental issues, and more. My Modern Met Store was formed to create a marketplace where top artists and makers can sell their products. We only feature clever and creative items that have been posted on our blog. All products are delivered from our headquarters in Southern California where we handle everything – from hand-packaging, boxing, shipping, and customer service. You can trust that all of our products are handled with care and that we're being as environmentally-friendly as possible. In our quest to further support the arts, at least 1% of all profits will be donated to a charity that benefits unprivileged children and adults, giving them the opportunity to experience art in a way that they might not otherwise have.
