Madebypaulinauk is a handmade item online shop specialising in bright and colourful terrazzo homeware and accessories. All run by Paulina herself, from her flat in Reading, UK. She aims to create unique and modern home decor for young creative adults that love to add a splash of colour into their life. Each item is made individually and entirely by hand. First the beautiful colours are mixed using Jesmonite and broken into little pieces to create the terrazzo chips. Then they are mixed into the base and cast in a variety of homeware moulds. Once set they are hand sanded to reveal the colourful chips and later sealed to protect against stains and water damage. The overall process is time consuming and highly rewarding. With the outcomes always being completely unique!
