THE NWC is a Worldwide Cycling Challenge established to raise awareness and funds in the fight against infection and virus caused cancers (HPV). The NWC wants to make an impact on reducing the risk to get cancer with: - Take on sportive challenges to get fit & live accordingly which reduces cancer risk by up to 40%: no smoking, reduced alcohol, balanced diet, healthy weight & regular exercise - Make cancer prevention personal by dedicating the sportive activities to someone who’s having or had cancer. - raise actively funds for cancer research to improve chances to avoid or cure cancer with the NWC supported research projects - don't forget to “Live the music that plays within you” everyday The NWC is not a race, it's more a challenge ranging from beginners to ambitious cyclists; it's about making the other succeed in its challenge, an event for the participant. The NWC is inspired by Nicola Werner who surrendered her life in 2016 to an HPV caused cancer.
