The European Energy Efficiency Fund (eeef) was established in 2011 with the mission of 'Advancing Sustainable Energy for Europe', to mitigate climate change through financing of energy efficiency measures in the public sector, small-scale renewable energy and clean urban transport projects. The eeef's public private partnership structure aims to have a European outreach by targeting the European Union's 27 Member States.
