QK Inc. was founded in early 1990 by Robbie Qualls and Doug Koch. Together they had a combined 35 years of Denny's experience. Their careers began as service assistants and they worked their way up to multi-unit supervisors overseeing both company and franchise restaurants in six states. Since the company's inception in 1990, QK Inc. has experienced steady growth. Today QK Inc., now QK Holdings, LLC, operates 95 Denny's restaurants in 11 states (Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah), and is the largest franchisee of Denny's restaurants in the world.
