OUR HISTORY WERC was founded in 1991 by a group of local professionals dedicated to the relocation industry. Most of the professionals involved during our inception were active members of the national organization, Employee Relocation Council and wanted to bring the sharing of ideas and knowledge to the local professional who did not have the opportunity to attend the national conferences. WERC continues to grow and evolve to serve the membership in promoting professional standards, conducting educational workshops and seminars, and sharing ideas in the field of corporate relocation throughout Wisconsin. OUR MISSION The Wisconsin Employee Relocation Council is a regional, professional, non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing all aspects of the relocation industry. The goals of the WERC are to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information regarding relocation, to promote professional standards in the relocation industry, to conduct local educational seminars addressing current concerns or trends relating to relocation and to provide a local directory of relocation contacts. Our periodically scheduled programs are designed to cover a broad range of topics that are on a current and timely basis. Each year we strive to provide programs meaningful to aid in the development of each member.
