To provide an atmosphere of enthusiasm in action, understanding, reflection of change and assist in the growth of the human spirit. Located just south of Houston, Texas, Bay Area Recovery Center (BARC) is a residential and extended care facility that has provided relief from and treatment for chemical dependency since 1992. Fully licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), our five facilities are within close proximity of each other and provide a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for the treatment of chemical dependency. Our message is far more than sobriety. We are a group of people who are recovering and have recovered from a hopeless state of mind and body, which you need to know, can happen to you. We no longer obsess over using alcohol or drugs, and we are happy.
