Our focus has been on plants that provide food, shelter, medicine, social/religious uses and can provide raw materials for local industry. We believe stabilizing all markets of agriculture worldwide can be best achieved by giving local communities more control through legislation that gives them priority over multi-state and nation corporations. By stacking the odds in government towards large corporations, we've given away local control of land ownership, production, processing and sales of all our agricultural markets. Farms and farmers across America and the world have been devastated as a result. Old techniques of crop rotation and soil development have been buried under a mountain of regulations from the government and legal contracts for chemicals, GMO seeds and plants backed by what many times ends up being bogus science. We also promote legislation that prioritized and demands pure, politically and profit neutral science designed to promote, not restrict public access to information on food and the ingredients in it. Proper labeling requirements for all GMO products should be a priority for all Americans.
