Founded in 2015 Metal Cutting Dies is a company specializing in the engineering and producing of Metal Cutting Dies used in the manufacturing of but not limited to leather products. Founder Nathan Minnehan started making leather journals in 2010 and went on to found the brand WalknTalk in 2012. After imaging that out there somewhere must be a metal template to cut the leather instead of resorting to cardboard cutouts, Minnehan discovered cutting dies. As an artisan he realized the challenge and expense of building cutting dies, and thought there must be a cheaper, better option in existence. Out of his own frustration to source a better, cheaper, stronger, more technologically engineered die, Minnehan created the company Metal Cutting Dies.
