The Greater Newark Healthcare Coalition is a collaborative compromising people with substantial decision-making authority in health care, government, academia, social service, and community advocacy. GNHCC’s mission is to significantly improve quality and access to health care for the residents of the Greater Newark area by collaborating to develop initiatives specifically aimed at identifying and limiting disparities and other barriers that lead to poor health outcomes in order to improve health and well-being. As such, GNHCC drives health planning efforts directed at improving the structural, governmental and social conditions necessary for improving the health status of the communities we serve.
