Mates Against Melanoma-The Jason Sprott Foundation Limited (MAM) is aiming to alleviate the suffering of our mates battling Australia's national cancer, Melanoma! To promote the prevention and control of Melanoma in human beings and facilitate education on prevention and early detection to prevent future generations from experiencing the levels of melanoma today and to one day see a world free from melanoma. MAM was founded on 21st June 2018, and is a registered charity with DGR status. Jason aims to devote his time and charity resources to providing education on prevention & early detection of melanoma.   Jason was diagnosed with melanoma in 2004 and fourteen years on, his diagnosis was upgraded to terminally ill-stage IV metastatic melanoma. He has experienced multiple operations (spine, stomach and brain) and understands how taxing the entire treatment process can be on an individuals, families and friends.
