We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. Diversity is a huge component of our club’s success, our members: Come from a variety of professional backgrounds Share different levels of public speaking experience Are multicultural with over 18 nationalities represented Age ranges from 25 to 80 years old Toastmasters International rates its clubs on how well they encourage members to pursue their personal public speaking and leadership goals/designations. We have been a President's Distinguished Club for the past 14 years and we are the only club in the Pacific North West to have received this distinction! This is the highest rating that Toastmasters International gives to its clubs! Well done Kirkland Eclectics! We are also one of the oldest Toastmasters clubs in the region and we are home to some of the best speakers and leaders of the district.
