Founded in 1872, Gauthier Fils specialises in the manufacture of braids, cords, laces, rickracks and elastics for designers and major luxury and clothing brands. In 2009, the company was awarded the EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) label for its expertise in trimmings and the maintenance of over 500 wooden looms in the original buildings. Gauthier Fils is part of the Gauthier Group, with Atiplast, Promotress, Manutex and Tourlonias 1895, in the Auvergne Rhone Alpes region.
