NoiseFloor Records is an electronic music label based in Montreal run by DJ/Producer Andrés Velilla since September 2017. However, the story of NoiseFloor started back in the late 90’s, when promoter Marshall Destro decided to do quality underground electronic parties in the city of Montreal under the name NoiseFloor. Then in 2009, DJ/Producer Andrés Velilla, a resident DJ at the renowned club Le Salon Daome, met Marshall and his team and joined forces with them to start a monthly night under the name NoiseFloor at Le Salon Daome. Throughout those years Andrés Velilla and the NoiseFloor team dedicated themselves to bring the top quality underground electronic music of different genres from Deep House to Techno, inviting such names as NiCe7, Kevin Yost, Pawas, Phillip Ort, Estroe, Saytek Live and Djuma Soundsystem just to name a few. After several years of working together, the NoiseFloor promotion team decides to part ways, and this is when Andrés Velilla makes the decision to continue what was started back in 2009 at Le Salon Daome, but this time is to continue spreading the music he loves to the world by building his record label NoiseFloor Records. NoiseFloor Records will emulate what Andrés Velilla’s music style is all about, a mix of genres from Deep House, Tech House, Deep-Techno, and Melodic-Techno. With NoiseFloor Records, Andrés Velilla wishes to share with the world new artists from Montreal and elsewhere, while also showcasing some more established artists.
