Our mission is to empower, through education and counseling, members of refugee and immigrant communities to invest in themselves to build financial stability, careers, businesses and wealth. For 12 years, ProsperityME has championed the economic empowerment of Maine’s immigrant community. Through our workforce development and social support programs, we help asylum-seekers and immigrants overcome barriers in education, employment, and housing by providing support programs that directly challenge roadblocks to personal and professional advancement. We achieve this by providing service-gap filling social programs in conjunction with foundational skills in financial capability to support the independence and long-term success our students. We help newcomers make the most of their circumstances, achieve financial stability, and plan for a prosperous life in Maine.
