Up to 25% of Americans are in need of nutritionally adequate food. Emergency food pantries cannot meet the chronic need, leaving many families hungry, lonely and stressed. Food Security for America creates transformative communities across the United States for people who need healthy food and connection with their neighbors. Participants in our programs learn about healthy nutrition and lifestyles, and form deep relationships with their neighbors, increasing their self-confidence, resiliency and the opportunities for self-sufficiency.
