The OddBalls Foundation

The OddBalls Foundation was set up in 2015 to raise awareness of Testicular Cancer. We are extremely proud to promote that 100% of ALL money donated to the Foundation is used to raise awareness of Testicular Cancer – this is only possible due to the support from OddBalls, the underwear company. Through the Foundation, we hope to make a difference to male health around the world and break down the taboo stigmas associated with Testicular Cancer. Testicular Cancer is one of the most treatable types of cancer when detected early, and the outlook is one of the best cancers, so early diagnosis and encouraging regularly checking is critically important. One of our aim is to fit as many OddBalls 'Check Yourself' guides into male toilets and changing rooms across the UK & Ireland. This will encourage males to check themselves regularly, and in doing so detect any problems early. The OddBalls Foundation has various diverse initiatives to raise awareness of Testicular Cancer from promoting different awareness campaigns across social media to encouraging men to have a ‘Fumble Friday’. However, The OddBalls Foundation’s main initiative to raise awareness of Testicular Cancer is through our University Ambassador Programme. We have 50 University Ambassadors across UK & Ireland, all from different ethnic backgrounds, with different genders and sexual orientations. Cancer does not discriminate, so being able to represent everybody is extremely important to us. Our University Ambassadors are committed to delivering Testicular Cancer Awareness talks in schools, colleges and the workplace all over the UK & Ireland! Testicular Cancer is unusual compared with other cancers because it tends to affect younger men; in fact, it is the most common type of cancer to affect men between the ages of 15 – 49. Having university students as our ambassadors is a powerful, relatable and memorable way of evoking the conversation and encouraging young men to check themselves.
