CO₂ Value Europe is the new European Association dedicated to the Utilisation of CO₂ officially created on 30 November 2017. Its mission is to promote the development and market deployment of sustainable industrial solutions that convert CO₂ into valuable products (materials, fuels or chemicals), in order to contribute to the net reduction of global CO₂ emissions and to the diversification of the feedstock base. The Association brings together more than 50 organizations from diverse sectors (power, cement, (petro)-chemicals, lime, industrial gases, technology, equipment, infrastructure, etc.) across Europe, including 12 multinational corporations. Its purpose is to coordinate the many different players involved in CO₂ Utilisation in Europe, to integrate their efforts along the value chain and to become the ambassador of the CO₂ Utilisation community towards policy makers and funders. CO₂ Value Europe is constituted as legal entity in the form of an international non-profit association (AISBL), governed by a General Assembly composed of all its Members, and an elected Board of Directors.
