I completed the Associates to Masters Degree Program at Ball State University in 2015. I am certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as an Adult-Gero Nurse Practitioner. I started my nurse practitioner career in the emergency department and transitioned to acute medicine in the hospital setting. I have also worked in occupational medicine and house call medicine in the past. Most recently I have worked at an internal medicine clinic and also rounded at local nursing homes. I am excited to bring my passion for individualized health care to your home by conducting home visits, telehealth, and direct messaging. While I am able to provide both primary and urgent care for anyone over the age of 18, patients 65 and older hold a special place in my heart. This population needs someone who can navigate the healthcare system with them and act as their advocate. I am currently practicing in Northern Indiana but plan to expand to Southwest Michigan in the near future. I am pleased to offer Direct Primary Care to my patients between the ages of 18 and 64. This is a type of practice model that offers care directly to the patient without the involvement of health insurance. Your health insurance can still be utilized for specialist referrals, labs, and imaging. Patients will pay a monthly or annual fee under a contract with Nurse Practitioner Services as well as a yearly membership fee. If your insurance has a high deductible for services other than preventive care, direct primary care services may be more cost effective. I am able to spend more time with my patients under this type of model. I also provide services to those who are not members. If you are over the age of 65 and enrolled in Medicare, I can provide services to you as I am credentialed with The Center for Medicare Services. At this time I do not take any supplemental insurance. As part of your Medicare benefits, I can provide your yearly Annual Wellness Visit, primary health care
