NEOMEC "Northeast Ohio Military Employer's Consortium" helps build a stronger relationship between military, organizations, and the community. We have three areas of focus: Readiness, Awareness, and Support. Readiness gets veterans and military personnel prepared for the transition into civilian employment, which includes resume translation, interviewing, and networking. Within Awareness we educate companies and organizations on how to create military recruiting programs and ERG's, develop successful military on-boarding programs, training employees on PTSD and TBI, and how to solve and deal with compliance issues. Our last focus is on Support. This is where we create a brand for Northeast Ohio as being Military Friendly and partner with non-profit organizations to schedule events for military families to create relationships with one another. Everyone at NEOMEC is a volunteer and sees the need for this organization in our community. We are currently in the process of applying for our 501c3 so we can officially become a non-profit.
