The Hudson Valley Venture Hub is a strategic community engagement initiative of the SUNY New Paltz School of Business. Our purpose (our WHY) is to create new opportunities for applied learning that will increase the odds of success for HV entrepreneurs. This is synergistic with the SUNY New Paltz drive to increase applied learning opportunities for students. We will encourage and support startups across the Hudson Valley, as well as SUNY New Paltz student driven startups, to enhance the entrepreneurial journey for all. Our mission is to be a highly valued resource hub for the Hudson Valley -- connecting the currently fragmented entrepreneurial ecosystem, and acting as a catalyst for increasing creative collisions and opportunities for communication and collaboration. Our vision is that the HV will become a recognized, vibrant entrepreneurial community that attracts and retains fundable, high-growth ventures that generate jobs and other economic and community benefits for the Hudson Valley.
