The mission of Internet of Printing BV (IOP) is to help independent resellers of Office Products improve the financial performance of their businesses by delivering innovative products, services and solutions which address present and future market challenges. IOP was founded by a small team of independent business executives, each of whom have more than 20 years experience and market knowledge in the sector. This foundation makes the company sensitive to and perceptive of, changes in market structure and dynamics. There are significant changes taking place and where there is change there is opportunity. Challenges facing Channel Players include but are not limited to: Emergence of 3D Printing & Supplies as a learning tool in Education verticals; Continuing migration of printed pages from desktop environments to floor standing devices; Increased penetration of MPS/MDS in SME Market Segments; Increased direct sales activities by the OEMs; Consolidation of Aftermarket Players; Increasing penetration of new build supplies, pressurising remanufacturing; ripping back of OEM Channel Support Programmes; and increasing requirement for mobile solutions. Many of these trends are compressing price points and reducing sales volumes which deliver a double hit to the gross margin line and have unpleasant consequences on the profit line. In order to stay healthy the reseller community must continually evolve. IOP's role is to stimulate and support that evolution by delivering products, services and solutions which generate new revenue streams, increase cash margins and stickier customers.
