St. Albans School of Public Service
www.schoolofpublicservice.orgFounded in 2002, the St. Albans School of Public Service (SPS) is a unique program that brings 35-40 rising high school seniors from all over the United States and the world to the heart of Washington, D.C., where they undertake an in-depth exploration of government, politics, and public service. We look for students with diverse backgrounds and talents with the enthusiasm and commitment to spend four weeks intensively immersed in government, public policy and public service. Our alumni have gone into an array of public service roles, including the Peace Corps, clerking for Supreme Court justices, becoming a foreign service officer, running for office, working on Capitol Hill and in the executive branch, serving as public defenders, teachers, entering military service - you name it, we probably have an alum doing it!
