Martin-Pitt Partnership for Children
www.mppfc.orgThe Martin-Pitt Partnership for Children, a non-profit in Eastern North Carolina, funds programs in quality early child care and learning, assistance finding child care services, parent and family support, health care, child care provider training, and early literacy during the first 2,000 days of a child’s life. Founded in 1998, the Martin-Pitt Partnership for Children is one of 75 Smart Start partnerships in our state. MPPFC works to support parents, child care facilities, and educators through collaborative programs, all aimed at doing everything possible to ensure that the children in our community arrive for kindergarten ready for a life of success. Ninety percent of brain development occurs before a child reaches kindergarten. The experiences our children have during their first five years literally build the foundation for their future. Our goal is to ensure that every child in Martin and Pitt counties has the opportunity to experience a quality early childhood education. With your support, we will continue to work towards the brightest future for our communities — one young mind at a time.
