The Karlsruhe Beryllium Handling Facility (KBHF) is a private organized infrastructure at KIT (North Campus), specialized on the handling of Beryllium and breeder materials for Fusion Reactor Blankets (ITER). It can be also described as a "Spin-In" and a model for the so called "Open Campus Concept". Die Karlsruhe Beryllium Handling Facility (KBHF) ist eine privat organisierte Infrastruktur am KIT. Sie ist spezialisiert auf die Handhabung von Beryllium und Brutstoffkeramik für die Kernfusion. Man kann sie auch als „Eingründung“ sehen und als Modell für den oft zitierten „Open Campus“.
