At the Huntington Learning Center of Clifton Park, we are committed to ensuring that each student receives the individualized instruction with certified tutors that they need to be successful in school, now and in the future. Each results-driven program is uniquely designed to develop the skills, confidence, and motivation to help your student navigate the classroom challenges and succeed. Our ADHD Support program was developed by renown Psychologist Dr. Mary Rooney whose specialty is treating children with ADD/ADHD. This program is a non-prescription, evidence-based approach to help students with ADHD manage their symptoms while rebuilding foundational skills and learning organization and executive functioning strategies. Our certified, special education certified teachers provide one-on-one instruction to students. The Center is accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, the same organization which accredits our local schools and universities. Huntington's programs are aligned with Common Core State Standards. Our tutoring students average a 2 grade level increase in about 90 days. Our SAT students average a 248 point increase, and ACT students average a 5.3 point increase. Score increases like this open many doors for prospective college students, including merit scholarships and multiple admissions offers.
