MEET THE FOUNDER OF SANTA MONICA SPEAKS… Shannon is a California-licensed speech language pathologist with vast experience with pediatric and adult populations. She has experience working with children with weaknesses in speech, language and social skills. Shannon has a specific interest working with the pediatric population and areas of specialty include fluency, articulation, apraxia of speech, social pragmatic disorders, and early intervention. Her adult experience ranges from dysphagia, neurological disorders, voice, cognition and complex medical conditions. Shannon enjoys working with her patients and their families in the home to provide communication support in the most naturalistic environment. Shannon received her BS in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences University of Colorado and her MS in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of the Pacific.
