The Delaware Valley Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society is a chapter affiliate of HIMSS. HIMSS is a global, cause-based, tax-exempt, 501(c)(6) non-profit organization focused on better health through information technology (IT). HIMSS leads efforts to optimize health engagements and care outcomes using information technology. To achieve our goal, we sponsor educational programs, meetings and events on related topical information, benefiting not only our members, but also the regional industry as a whole.
