Author-e develops professional authoring and reporting tools for webbased collaboration. The software tool Author-e has elaborate collaborative features that facilitates an efficient and a controlled way of cooperation on documents. It consists of a Document Management System to share files, Author-e documents for simultaneous editing, notification and task management for collaboration, a database module for webforms and reports, a workflow module. It is used in research project management (e.g. FP7 and Horizon 2020 projects under the tradename FP-tools) and quality management (e.g. SOP management, ISO 9001) and e-learning. Customers of Author-e include universities, research institutes, SME's and local and regional governments.
