Catie's Closet provides clothing and basic necessities to more than 80,000 students experiencing the traumas of poverty and homelessness in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. By transforming unused space into free stores right inside schools, we give kids immediate access to what they need. As a result, students gain confidence and self-esteem, and feel a sense of belonging among their peers. Catie's Closet decreases absenteeism and increases graduation rates in 120 local schools.
