Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic Association (WMPA) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization of musicians and music enthusiasts committed to producing high-quality live performances and opportunities accessible to the DC metropolitan community. WMPA sponsors three orchestras: The Philharmonic, plus two youth orchestras - the Washington Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and the Washington Metropolitan Concert Orchestra; a free summer chamber concert series at the Lyceum in Alexandria, VA; and a composition competition. Through its unique and diverse programming and initiatives, WMPA celebrates LIVING. BREATHING. MUSIC.
