The Praedium Group is a real estate private equity firm focused on middle-market multi-family investments. Since its founding, Praedium has completed over 390 transactions representing $12 billion of capital. Over the past 31 years, The Praedium Group has sponsored a series of ten private equity funds, as well as several separate investment vehicles. The firm, which is based in New York City, was founded in 1991 as part of Credit Suisse. The Praedium Group became a third-party investment management affiliate of Credit Suisse in 1994. In 1999, The Praedium Group separated from Credit Suisse and presently operates as an independent investment firm.
