Currently, firefighters perform early forest fire detection by relying on insight from citizens who witness a fire. However, the problems with this is it being not efficient due to the burden of calling the fire department and reporting a fire. The Fire Hawk Reporting Service is able to solve this problem by making it easy to report a fire by simply taking a picture of the fire itself. Better yet, the Fire Hawk Reporting Service also allow users to view fires in their proximity via the MapBox API located on this website!
